The St. Louis Small Business Empowerment Center (SBEC) is the region’s primary resource for business growth. Established in 2010, the center has been instrumental in launching 1,000+ businesses in the region.

Kevin Wilson, Executive Director
Thousands of St. Louis-area entrepreneurs have benefitted from Kevin Wilson’s ability to help launch successful businesses. Kevin, a highly respected small business consultant and entrepreneurial coach, has decades of experience in SBA lending, deal structuring, tax credits, and business strategy. He is passionate about economic development, small business finance, and building community wealth.  

Kevin is a certified Economic Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council and a graduate of Leadership St. Louis. He serves as board president of T-REX, a non-profit innovation and entrepreneur development center dedicated to strengthening the economic vitality of St. Louis. 

Kevin received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
